Michael oversees, among other things, our industry-wide codes and standards work, association testing programs, and the development of technical documents. Previously Michael has had many roles in the construction products industry, including roles in technical services, product management, sustainability and regulatory affairs over his 20+ year career. He is active in ASTM, NFPA, UL, ASHRAE and ICC in developing codes and standards, including holding roles as a committee officer in multiple ASTM Committees. Michael holds both a BS and MS in Chemistry from The University of Akron, from which he is proud to be a “Zip Alum.”

Susan has worked within the design and construction industry for more than 20 years. She has held communication and information positions within the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) where she founded LAND Online and The Dirt, before becoming a staff writer-editor for Landscape Architecture magazine. She also served in public relations roles at the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), and the landscape architecture firm, Oehme, van Sweden & Associates. She joined the Gypsum Association (GA) in 2014, and currently serves as Director of Stewardship and External Affairs. She holds an MA in American history from American University.

Brooke comes to the Gypsum Association with more than 20 years in the trade association world, with 15+ of those years in residential and commercial construction. Prior to her current position, Brooke was Director of Labor Relations and Communications at Northern California Allied Trades for nearly 10 years, representing more than 200 commercial union painting and glazing contractors in contract negotiations and union relations. She also worked at the National Home Builders Association for more than 5 years in public relations and industry communications. She has a B.S. in Business Administration from William Jewell College (MO) and an M.S.S. in Sports Management.

Greg has more than 20 years of experience in building products and services. Throughout his career, he has held commercial account management roles at prominent companies such as Lafarge North America, Allied Building Products, and The Home Depot. In these roles, he provided consultative services to architects and contractors on building materials, significantly contributing to their projects' success. Notably, Greg has experience in video production and set construction with National Geographic Television and many commercial production companies. He plays a crucial role in publications development and enhances the gypsum industry's representation within technical and consensus organizations. On the educational front, Greg is committed to sharing his extensive knowledge with industry professionals. He conducts training sessions on Gypsum Association publications and resources with code enforcement chapters and associations. He also contributes to the creation of educational content, including technical publications and industry guidelines, helping to raise the standard of knowledge and expertise within the gypsum industry. Greg holds a degree from New York University and proudly carries the LEED Green Associate credential, further solidifying his commitment to sustainable practices and innovation in the industry.

Vianney brings more than 18 years of experience in the construction materials industry. She comes to us from Harford Minerals, Joppatowne, MD, where she served as Accounting Manager while also overseeing HR, office administration and inbound/outbound sales. Prior to Harford Minerals, Vianney held inside sales, billing and dispatch roles at Bluegrass Materials/Martin Marietta Materials, Lafarge Aggregates and Aggregate Industries. In her role as Operations Administrator, Vianney oversees all accounting, general office, and administrative duties. Vianney holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Towson University, Towson, Maryland.
