On July 16, 2024, Gypsum Association staff received training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and advanced bleeding control.  Staff have trained every two years since 2016, maintaining certification in these important and potentially lifesaving techniques. Trainer Kevin Brenner of Keep the Beat CPR and First Aid Training coached staff in both infant and adult CPR and AED use. Staff welcomes the opportunity to spend a morning reviewing and learning these potentially lifesaving measures.

This ongoing training program reflects the Association’s longstanding  commitment to creating a safe environment everywhere.
