About the Course

For more than 90 years, gypsum board has been used as a high performance, economical, easy-to-install and fire-resistant construction material. The gypsum industry continues to invest in research and development of new and improved products and systems that enhance the value, safety, and overall performance of gypsum panels.

This course addresses the unique attributes of specialized performance gypsum panels and how they can be used to improve the performance, efficiency, and resilience of multi-family dwellings and commercial structures. The course also discusses how architects and specifiers can benefit building owners and add value to a project through proper selection and installation of gypsum panels

• Discuss how specialized performance panels can add value and reduce lifecycle costs in both commercial buildings and multi-family dwellings
